Description
The quality: Ferroline C6X1 is a triple gas mixture of (Ar = 93%, CO2 = 6%, O2 = 1%), M24 ArCO - 6/1 in according to EN ISO 14175. The pressure of gas cylinder
is 20 Mpa (200 bar) at the T= +15oC.
Solutions: We offer the cylinders of Ferroline C6X1 for rent (NOT for sell). It is an inert, and non-toxic mixture, widely used in welding.
Application: Ferroline C6X1 is used in industry as a special purpose welding mixture for low-carbon low-alloy steels allowing to obtain high-quality welds. It is used in mechanical engineering (manufacturing metal structures, pipelines), construction (welding load-bearing steel structures). Welding gas mixtures containing argon, carbon dioxide, and oxygen (e.g., Ar+CO₂+O₂) have several advantages over traditional argon-carbon dioxide mixtures (Ar+CO₂). Adding oxygen stabilizes arc burning, reducing metal spatter. Oxygen improves edge wetting, resulting in a smoother and more even weld.
Interesting information Gas mixtures with a high argon content allow for faster welding due to arc stability. Oxygen-containing mixtures (in low amount) produce a cleaner weld surface. Gas mixtures with a low carbon dioxide content reduce harmful gas emissions and decrease ventilation load. In this gas mixture, the welder evaluates the electric arc as stable and "smooth".
