Description
The quality: Inoxline C2 is a gas mixture of (Ar = 97,5%, CO₂ = 2,5 %), M12 - ArC - 2,5 in according to EN ISO 14175. The pressure of gas cylinder is 20 Mpa (200 bar) at the T= +15°C.
Solutions: We offer the cylinders of Inoxline C2 for rent (NOT for sell). It is an inert, and non-toxic mixture, widely used in MAG welding of different groups of stainless steels: duplex, austenitic , ferritic.
Application: Inoxline C2 is used in industry as a special purpose welding mixture of different groups of stainless steels allowing to obtain high-quality welds. Used in welding chemical tanks, pipes and equipments which are used in chemical, petrochemical, paint, textile, paper and shipbuilding industries, etc. Welding gas mixtures containing argon and CO₂ have several advantages over universal welding argon (Ar). The addition of carbon dioxide (CO₂) improves the stability and steadiness of the welding arc, reducing spatter and making the process easier to control. In small amounts (2,5%), CO₂ helps create good wetting and a strong joint. CO₂ promotes deeper penetration due to its higher activity, which is beneficial when welding thicker materials.
Interesting information For MAG welding of stainless steels, welding machines with “pulse” and “double pulse” functions are more suitable. This allows achieving neat and dense weld seams.
